Clifford A. Jones, Jr. is a preacher, singer and program administrator.  He has devoted his life to “serving God and spreading the Good News” of the Christian faith.
 
For the last 12 years, he has served as the Senior Pastor of United Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Winston Salem, N.C.
 
Rev. Jones sensed God’s call on his life and accepted the call to ministry in 1998.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC.; Master of Divinity degree in 2002 from Andover-Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, MA; the Master of Theology degree in 2004 from Emory University/Candler School of Theology, Atlanta GA.; a Certificate in Contextual Theology from the International Baptist Theological Seminary, Prague, Czech Republic in 2012.; and the Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University Theological School, Madison, N.J. in 2018.  He also completed and received a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) certificate from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center ,Winston-Salem, NC in 2000.
 
In addition to singing, Rev Jones enjoys watching movies, playing sports, hunting and fishing.  His favorite and best hobby is just taking a plain old ‘nap’. 
 
On September 10, 2016, he married Courtney Sareeta Jones.  To their union, they have 3 children, Jim, Jaree, and Michelle.
